GEOMATRIX UAB is a small private company established in spring 2011 in Kaunas (Lithuania). The main focus areas of the company area applied research and consultancy in eco- and geo-informatics, also development of automated workflows and providing services of automated geo-processing and operational mapping. The company is founded and owned by one of the leading remote sensing and GMES experts in Lithuania Dr. Gediminas Vaitkus, based on his scientific background in environmental studies, combined with more than a decade of personal experience in applied geo-informatics and automated data processing.
Federal Department for Environment Transport Energy and Communication is the federal government’s centre of environmental expertise and is part of the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communication. FOEN is the lead partner for natural hazard prevention in Switzerland. The federal office gives financial and technical support for the regional and cantonal prevention activities. A large inventory of landslides and monitoring products were generated using satellite SAR interferometric techniques. FOEN has also activities in R&D projects on national and international level.

The Earth Sciences Department of the University of Firenze is a Centre of Competence of the Italian Civil Protection for Remote Sensing and Geohazards, and the European Centre of the International Consortium on Landslides (ICL). The research group, composed by 4 full time permanent position academic staff, 3 fixed term researcher, and more than 30 assistant researchers and PhD students, is one of the largest centres for scientific and technological services on geohazards in Italy. UNIFI a firm reputation for its practical, problem solving approach to geosciences, which has led to the establishment of solid ties with governmental agencies and private enterprises.
The Geological and Mining Survey of Spain is a public research organism of the Science and Education Ministry, responsible for advising the Spanish state, regional and local authorities, including the Civil Protection and others concerned with public safety, on all aspects of geo-science, as well as providing geological advice to industry, academia and the public. The Geohazards Unit is the largest group in Spain dedicated to flooding, earthquakes, volcanoes and mass movements (subsidence and landslides). More than 30 years of accumulated experience provides this unit with a wealth of expertise and datasets on geohazards in Spain.

ALTA brings together wide technical and scientific experience, skill in project management at a European level, numerous external connections, mainly with stakeholders and private institutions, and a good working knowledge of the procedures of international organisations.
King’s College London, with >17,000 students, occupies a leading position in UK higher education, and has a worldwide reputation for research and teaching. The Department of Geography has an international reputation as a centre of research excellence, employing 40+ full time academic staff. Within the department, the Environmental Monitoring and Modelling (EMM) and the Hazards and Risk (HR) Research Groups will take part in LAMPRE.
The Italian Civil Protection Department is an Office of the Prime Minister. The Italian legislation (Law no. 225/1992 and law no. 401/2001) entrusts the Department with the aims of safeguarding the integrity of life, goods, buildings and environment from any damage or risk of damage arising from natural disasters, catastrophes and any other hazardous event.
