19-22 January 2015, San José. A dissemination and Training workshop on Earth Observation based technologies and their application in the management of natural hazards will engage at Universidad de Costa Rica a wide range of potential users of LAMPRE products, including authorities, institutions and commissions, responsible for the natural risks in the Central and South American region, as well as researchers and geologists who are experts in the data management in the context of natural disasters.
4 December 2014, Bruxelles - Representatives of FP7-Space projects (PREFER, PHAROS, LAMPRE, FLOODIS, SENSUM, IncREO, RASOR, APhoRISM, FAST) related to the Copernicus Emergency Management Service together with representatives of the European Commission services potentially interested in these services met in Brussels at the Research Executive Agency (REA). The purpose of the Emergency Projects workshop was to identify and/or develop cooperation opportunities between players of the FP7 projects, in view to support the sustainability of the services.
6-7-8 October 2014, Genova, Italy - The second Exploitation workshop of LAMPRE engaged in Genoa, project partners and members of the Stakeholder and User Group to discuss the progress of the project from the perspective of strategic exploitation and sustainabilty of the project outcomes.
15-16 September 2014, Roma - LAMPRE results and exploitation tasks presented at the 3rd International Space Research Conference in Rome.
11-13 June 2014, Prague, Czech Republic - LAMPRE will take part at the European Space Solutions Conference. This 3-day conference will involve a wide audience of users and developers of space-based solutions to discuss about the potential for using space technologies from the Galileo/EGNOS (navigation) and Copernicus (Earth observation) programmes.
13 March 2014 - 14 March 2014, Brussels, Belgium - Copernicus Big Data Workshop focused on data availability for Copernicus users (public authorities, downstream industry, researchers, etc.), as well as on technical solutions to ensure the uptake of Copernicus data and information.
10-11 June 2013, Brussels, Belgium - LAMPRE partners talked at the Supersites Coordination Workshop organised by the DG Research and Innovation of the European Commission in Brussels.
19-23 May 2013, Genève, Switzerland – Altamira attended the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction and presented LAMPRE during a meeting on the Global Platform IGNITE stage (Marketplace area).
