19 May 2014 – Jerusalem, Israel - The LAMPRE Project Coordinator, Fausto Guzzetti, was invited by the Geological Survey of Israel (GSI) to present Lampre, its objectives and latest work developments.

The GEO-X and 2014 Ministerial Summit had one major outcome, which is Ministers – through a declaration – to decide the continuation of GEO after 2015 and give a mandate to define the “Second Implementation Plan 2025”. The Ministers are also expected to review the progress against the GEOSS Strategic Targets and to confirm their commitment to complete the current 2005-2015 Implementation Plan.
21 November 2013, Bruxelles, Belgium - Fausto Guzzetti (CNR-IRPI) gave a presentation on “Remote Sensing for Detection, Mapping & Monitoring of Landslides & Ground Deformations” at the international workshop organised by the Research Executive Agency (REA).
9-14 October 2013, Padova, Italy - Landslide hazard and disaster reduction Italy/Taiwan workshop, organized by IRPI in Padua and Dolomites. Alessandro Mondini (CNR-IRPI) gave a talk on event-landslide mapping with different data and techniques presenting a test case of the LAMPRE project in Pogliaschina catchment (Italy).
9-11 October 2013, Certosa di Pontignano, Siena, Italy - Fausto Guzzetti (CNR-IRPI) presented LAMPRE during the 9th TOPO-EUROPE Workshop with a presentation entitled "Landslides, Earthquakes, Active Deformations".
10-11 June 2013, Brussels, Belgium - LAMPRE partners talked at the Supersites Coordination Workshop organised by the DG Research and Innovation of the European Commission in Brussels.
20 June 2013, Umbria, Italy - LAMPRE goals and strategy presented to the Regional Civil Protection Functional Centre (Centro Funzionale) of the Umbria Region. LAMPRE scientists illustrate the innovative mapping techniques and the expected results to regional civil protection experts, planners and professionals, in Foligno.
19-23 May 2013, Genève, Switzerland – Altamira attended the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction and presented LAMPRE during a meeting on the Global Platform IGNITE stage (Marketplace area).
